Tropicalito Tulum

This is a small little hotel, almost hidden away but it’s at a nice spot with a gem of a private beach very nearby. It was quiet and satisfying fr my needs. Thehost Luis was very nice and helpful. The cleaning staff did a nice job as well. The value for my money was amazing. Would definitely return.

The shower head was a little wonky spewing water outside the stall. Just needs a little fix or replacement.

De locatie

De accomodatie viel nog net niet uit elkaar. De hor was kapot, de hele badkamer werd zeiknat door de stortdouche, er zat een kakkerlak op de kamer en er liep een mega grote rat door ons terrasje. Daarnaast werkte de wifi niet en konden we alleen op kapotte ligbedjes liggen op de rotsen. Op die plek kan je het water niet in. We konden om 15:00u via de self check-in inchecken, maar de host was niet bereikbaar en hebben een uur gewacht.

Incredible seafront location. Suite has a balcony with seaview and a small plunge pool on the balcony. You can walk out of the back of the hotel onto a neighbouring beach which is lovely. Hotel is on a strip with 10+ coffee shops and restaurants and 2 convenience stores so perfect location so you don't feel trapped in a resort.

Maintenance is hard in a hotel in the jungle but, if I had a magic wand, I would make it so the blinds and Air Conditioner and shower room door weren't broken and needed fixing during our stay. But this is the reality of staying in the jungle.

The location of the hotel is incredible. Just by a public beach. And the main beaches (parque del Jaguar) are also a walkable distance away. Also, the property as a beach front (no beach in itself, but rocks) with chairs to enjoy the view. It is quite amazing. The staff is super friendly. Everyone I interacted with was very helpful.

The room feels a bit unfinished for this price. But let's be clear: you pay for the great location. A few small things could really help though: a shower curtain, more spaces for storage, etc. Note: there is no parking but it is possible to use the one of the bar across the street (for a fee). We did this without problem. Everyone was super friendly.
