Good location, kitchen where you can cook. Owner let us check in 3 hours earlier. Beach is behind the house which is nice (we had sargassum so we just used the pool). All in all should be cheaper, we paid less for Hotel Intercontinental in Cancun where the beach was incredible and we had amazing breakfasts too.

The shower was working poorly (no warm water most of the time), the walls are very thin so if you are a light sleeper, you can hear everything.

Tropicalito Villa on the Beach is a lovely, peaceful spot right on the beach. We stayed just one night but enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, ocean view, and cozy vibe. The room was clean, with a good shower and simple, pleasant decor. The beach is just a few steps away and almost empty — perfect for relaxing. Everything went smoothly, and we liked our stay.

Tropicalito was the perfect hotel for us! It is small and located on the main beach road around bars and shops but somehow it is tucked just perfectly that we never heard noise from outside the hotel. Ivo, the property manager was so so kind and available at all times to ask questions via Whatsapp or in person at the hotel. The pool overlooking the ocean is truly wonderful. It felt really special. We were worried it would be crowded but because it is such a small hotel, we started our mornings at the pool for a few hours every day and were always the only ones there. By far some of the most magical moments we had were sitting on the chairs by the edge of the cliff, right above the ocean. We watched the sunrise there a few mornings, and the moon rise too one night! It was really spectacular. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

I would add a seating option in the bedroom, like a couple of chairs maybe. It wasn't great having to sit on the bed if you needed to take a second to do something after coming back from the beach.
