Tanat Art Hotel

The apartment was really nice, modern and clean. We were happy with the attention to details and small gestures like ear plugs for each of us. the location is also very central so it was easy to walk around and access nice cafes and restaurants.

Although the name says it’s a boutique hotel, it’s more like a furnished apartment, which means that there was no daily room service/cleaning and if you need anything (like extra toilet paper) you would have to talk to the security people downstairs. Also, I tried messaging the number provided by the host, but we never received a reply back (the logistical issue we had was quickly resolved though through the security woman). The apartment can be a bit noisy (outside noise), and this explains why we received ear plugs. Overall, all of these issues did not ruin our stay, and we might even come back!

Beautiful apartment and great location

While my stay wasn't bad, but it was below what I expected. The room was very stuffy and with poor ventilation. Although there was an AC, it barely affected the temperature of the unit - maybe it needed maintenance. Additionally, one of the outlets was completely falling apart, and another did not work. The hot water in the shower would only last a couple of minutes. Front desk staff was also not very friendly or helpful. Overall I felt this place was very overpriced for what you received and compared to other similar accommodations in the same neighbourhood. I will not be staying here again.

Walls are very thin and you can hear a lot of movement from other apartments

More of an apartment rental than hotel. No real front desk situation, for example I needed to make a local phone call and was told guests always bring their phones and one wasn’t available to use. There is a 24 hour security guard who buzzes you in. You can’t enter the building any other way so if they are in the bathroom you will wait outside until they see you on the camera and let you in. The apartment was beautiful with everything you’d expect and well designed, great balcony and view and perfect location. Rooms are not “soundproofed” as you will hear upstairs neighbors and they will hear you, but it’s pretty muffled and not a big issue.
