Coralia Boutique Hotel Cozumel

This review is about the terrible and rude management and manager who also owns the other hotel in Cozumel, Coralia Hotel and Spa. Unfortunately Coralia is not a hotel it’s a construction site! Construction workers started drilling and making loud noise at 6:00 am. This place is very noice. You couldn’t even walk through the second floor because there was still construction going on. So it’s not a finished hotel. We were promised a sea view room, but all we could see was a partial ocean view but mostly construction site. On their website they promised a full continental breakfast with fresh fruits and toasts, but there was only some pastries at the reception with flys. We booked four nights but due to all the construction and noise we stayd only for one night. We tried to get some refund from the rest of the nights because of false advertising and unfinished construction but the manager didn’t even want to discuss this. So we ended up paying for all the four nights even though we stayed only for one night. Be aware that the manager is the same than in Hotel Illa. Rooftop pool area was really nice but it’s not finished yet. Overall the rooftop area was actually the only thing which was pretty much as advertised on their website and social media. Fransesca from the reception was really nice and helpful but unfortunately her hands were tied due to management.
