The Beachfront by The Fives Hotels - A la Carte All Inclusive Adults Only

The property was small. The staff was amazing and super helpful. If you’re going to just lounge around it’s great. The food was okay not what I expect when traveling to Mexico. I didn’t like that you couldn’t eat whenever you had to travel to the sister hotel more than I’d like to. Overall the staff made the place but I don’t think we will travel back. I actually left 3 days sooner and got another hotel.

We have stayed at a few higher end adults all inclusive resorts at this point and this one is at the top of the list for us. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax, unwind, forget about daily life for a few days, this is your spot. Drinks were strong with quality liquor. The food was good, not just for an all inclusive, but had good seasoning and quality ingredients. The property is beautiful and constantly being up kept. And the most important part was the staff. They are amazing from beginning to end. Ivonne was one of the best pool side waitresses we have ever had.

The food and service here are exceptional. I only wish they had more variety for the dinner and room service menu so that the resort was enough without traveling to the sister resort next door. I didn't enjoy my experiences at the fives except for the dinner at Arezzo. The beachfront restaurant and pool and bar are all great quality. I didn't like that the resort is so close to a public beach access. When you shuttle to the other property you go through a back road which is not nice at all. It'd be nice if the two resorts being connected wasn't such an afterthought. A nice walking or shuttle path would be better. I also thought the room was a bit odd. It was very nice and had a great balcony. But there was barely any furniture. I couldn't put most of my clothes away. And there was no where to eat in the room if we got room service.. The room was also very poorly lit I couldn't see much at night. Only dim lamps and overhead lights only in the shower and toilet room. Overall a few little things that added up that weren't great but could easily be improved to make this place even better. It was a very nice stay overall with great service and amenities.

What a great find can not fault it staff & service is excellent, location great, facilities perfect, rooms clean and comfy. And the main reason we selected the hotel was the a la carte and cocktails and they did not disappoint the food (especially the lunches) were superb as you’ll see from most of my photos. I even had time to relax and do a little sketch of the pool. It’s a little hotel which we wanted as not a big hotel person but if you want the sister hotel is a 5 minute walk along the beach or a shuttle service can be used. We went over to the sister hotel but it’s just the same old large hotel with usual foods on offer that don’t come close to the food at the beachfront. All the staff were fantastic but a special mention to Yvonne who kept us hydrated on the beach with water in the mornings and the mezcalitas in the afternoon. All the staff were great and I know I’ll miss some names but also thanks to Alex, Kevin, Gustavo, Saul, Eduardo, Omar, Jorge and many more…. Will defo recommend and we hope to be back next time we are in Mexico

Love this place especially if you’re looking for VERY chill vibes, relaxation, steak + champagne on the beach and yummy mojitos. This was my first solo trip during an incredibly stressful and depressing year and spending just 5 days had me so stress free and happy again! Highly recommend for people that just wanna turn their brain off and soak up the sun!

We had a fantastic experience thanks to the excellent service throughout our stay. At the bar, Carlos and Israel made our evenings memorable with delicious cocktails and an incredible tequila tasting. Dinner every night was outstanding, and Jorge and Valeria consistently provided exceptional service. All the staff and ambassadors we met were incredibly polite and friendly. The pool area was always spotless, with clean towels and well-maintained loungers. Whenever we wanted to visit the restaurants or areas in the other part of the hotel, transportation was readily available with staff waiting to assist us. Communication was also excellent — we were kept informed daily through a WhatsApp group about wellness activities, special events at the pool and plaza, and daily menus. The only downside was the beach area. Right next to the hotel’s beach was a public beach section where non-guests could gather. It often became noisy and littered, making it less enjoyable. I would have loved to swim and relax in the sea, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations.

What a beautiful resort! It’s right on the beach, clean and quiet, such a beautiful property. The staff were so friendly, amazing food, and excellent service. I would stay here again!
