The Beachfront by The Fives Hotels - A la Carte All Inclusive Adults Only

This is my father best hotel I've stayed at in years. It's only 32 rooms so it's perfect if you're looking for a quiet vacation. The ambassadors do an excellent job with daily information and any needs are taken care of right away. The staff are excellent, Mariana, Jorge ,Julio just the name a few make you feel at home. The food is outstanding and on Monday Wednesday and Friday we did Mexican Italian and Oriental six plate tasting menu. Everything is à la Car no buffets and at lunch by the pools they have daily specials like oysters and Langostino. I will definitely be returning. It's a 15 minute taxi ride to Playa downtown.

We opted for Beachfront in order to try something a little different from the larger hotels in the area. A summary is pretty easy: this place is excellent. The staff are wonderful and incredibly responsive (use the Whatsapp group they set up for you, it's perfect), in particular Lucas and Johana, you guys are great! If you want lots of people and lots of activities, go to the main Fives hotel next door, this is not the place for you! If you want quiet, and no difficulty finding comfortable loungers any time you want them on the private area of the beach or by the pool; premium drinks mixed to your needs; attentive and friendly staff; then come here. We had a couple of issues with the room but they were dealt with immediately. I heard some people talking about low hot water pressure so be aware of that. Others have talked about the setup - a shuttle to the main hotel for the restaurants and activities there should you want them (the restaurant at Beachfront does now cover all meals, but the Fives hotel restaurants give more options; we particularly liked Koh Thai and Brasserie but were glad to get back from the noise to our own quiet hotel!) and so on. The rooms here are not especially big, but since the aim isn't to be in them much of the day that was no issue to us, the room was ample. There is a public beach right next to Beachfront which has a barrier to the waves and is very pleasant - very little seaweed. Beautiful sand too. It's not perfect but I'd recommend it.

I had an excellent time at The Beachfront, which is a new adults only sister resort to the Fives hotel and residencies. The food was amazing, you can have breakfast and lunch here. For dinner, you’ll need to take a quick golf cart ride to the Fives. We enjoyed the dinner at the Italian restaurant. However, nothing beats lunch. Very quiet, we had the pool to ourselves for most of our stay and the ocean view from our room was beautiful. The ambassadors, Julio, Juan and Nayeth were attentive along with other resort staff members. Everyone was very caring! The room was clean and well maintained. We hope to visit again.

The Fives Beachfront was a great experience! The staff was friendly, the view was amazing, and the property was well maintained. We will definitely be back soon!
