Hotel Marea Baja

Enjoyed our stay. The evening was a bit cool and would have enjoyed an extra blanket for the bed.

Clean

Sólo fui una noche y la verdad estaba super cómodo todo muy limpio.

This simple property was clean and offered exactly what was advertised. Limited interaction with staff. Close to the Malecon. Lots of shops were closed so it’s possible we were just experiencing the shoulder season. All in all, a good place to stop on a road trip.

Everything was good, rooms are very clean and spacious.

The reception staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They were concerned about our experience and did everything they could to make it better. Parking was great as well.

For the town of San Felipe, this hotel looked like it was probably the nicest option. It was very clean. For the area though, it was quite expensive; I paid nearly the same price for a very nice hotel with a lot of amenities in Ensenada the day after my stay here. The room would have been much better if it had had some very basic things like a safety lock on the inside of the door, a hair dryer, a chair in the room, and a reading lamp near the bed.

Todo muy bien

This was a clean, recently remodeled hotel… but very basic: not even a chair to sit in, in the room… no hairdryer, no microwave or fridge in the room. The swimming pool looked beautiful but was not heated, so we didn’t go in… quiet overall, and plenty of safe parking. The office is staffed 24/7 and they were happy to give us bottled water/towels as needed. We stayed 3 nights and didn’t notice any housekeeping services in that time, which was fine. We used the WiFi, and were happy to see they had Netflix on the TV.

The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well taken care of and the reception was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to all the restaurants and easy to walk to the Malacon and beach.
