Bungalows San Felipe

The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. They also required payment on arrival instead of at check-out. There are no cafes walking distance, and long waits for a taxi to come to the area. We actually had a few taxis say no when we were trying to come back from downtown. When I texted about the hot water problem (no response when I had called) I was told I should have pointed it out on the first day, like it was my fault! I had let the person who checked us in know on the very first morning. They changed the shower head and then the water heater. Other item I did not like was that back door was left unlocked every day. I would lock it at night and before leaving only to find it unlocked when we returned from our outings. No I would not recommend this place.

Esta propiedad no era lo que se esperaba y como decia en Exoedia ya que solo tiene un baño y las camas son individuales solo una matrimonial , al inicio nos dieron una habitacion muy fea y exigimos cambio dieron otra un poco menos feo , le faltaba fumigar habia muchos animalitos y cucaracha muerta , la persona que estaba en recepción era como de mantenimiento , le tuve que ayudar a que nos cobrara con la tarjeta , la encargada solo hable con ella por telefono nunca dio la cara , esta algo lejos del centro y para salir en taxi hay q llamar muchas veces no sube mucho taxi por ahi no hay ni una tiendita es todo casas, tuvimos que quedarnos porque era semana de dia de muertos mucha demanda , la verdad no lo recomiendo ni volveria jamas .

Todo bien el único problema es que hay que llegar antes de las 4 PM para registrarse

El bungalow es grande y espacioso. Sólo faltaría modernizar la estufa. Magnífica atención y cortesía. Todo a un precio razonable.

Great value for money during Día de Muertos which we came to see. Heaps of space, kitchen, nice area, felt safe to walk the 5km into town from here which we did one day. We also caught the bus that goes along the main road nearby with no issues. Very easy to get taxis as they also use this road and generally will take you to Centro for about 100 pesos. Thank you to Jaime who made sure we were ok and called a number of taxis for us. 👍 not fancy if that’s your thing, but for us it was exactly what we needed.
