Club Vergel Resort

Wonderful attention and welcome from the staff. View is pretty and the property is so peaceful and well maintained. We could see so many stars from the property at night, yet the centro Pueblo of Bernal was a short drive away. We Would definitely return here again.

We stayed here twice to and from our drive to Xilitla and Jalpan. Beautiful grounds with lovely gardens. Pool and hot tub were very refreshing. We went for easy morning walks around the subdivision which only has a few houses and a little bit of new construction, and a terrific view of La Pena. There is a security guard at a gate through which you must pass when entering. Irma was incredible and what a fun and caring person she is. She did a little of everything from cooking delicious breakfasts and dinners (try the homemade pizza) to checking us in and out to overseeing just about everything. Club Vergel is only a 25 minute drive to the Queretaro airport.

Could have a few more plugs in the room for our cell phones & laptops. Water in shower goes back and forth between very hot and cold.
