"Our stay at 12 Creekside"

6.0

I’ll start with the positive. Beautiful space inside and out. Always had plenty of hot water and the grounds were peaceful and lovely. The code we had been given to unlock the keyless door, did not work. This meant we had to call the office to rectify after a VERY long travel day. It was fixed promptly though by the woman on the phone. The mattress was as hard as a rock and neither of us slept well on it all week (in fact I opted for the couch a few nights). I didn’t actually see a smoke detector on premises (unless it was hiding somewhere). I did see the casing for where one should have been (picture attached). Don’t think that is up to code. Having more towels for a week long stay would have been nice (only given 4) but we managed. A more detailed list of what was included in the kitchen would have been helpful as we bought coffee and coffee filters on our way to find out that there were already some there. Oh well, we just paid it forward. The little ramp/bridge thing to cross over to the property was a bit sketchy and we had some pretty noisy neighbors. Overall, a lovely place with just a few complaints.

"Amazing stay"

10.0

My wife and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding. It was nothing short of amazing! This place was clean, and quiet and was the perfect getaway from the city. We went down to the creek every morning and enjoyed the sounds of the water, enjoyed the night sky views as well! Highly highly recommended and will definitely stay again!

"Property nice; check-in confusing"

8.0

The property itself is lovely & secluded and the location is a 5 minute drive to everything in Sedona. Our room was cute (though there was a broken spring in the middle of the living room floor and NO HANGERS). This room (17) in particular provides a bit of additional lounging space outside along the creek which we took full advantage of - I am glad that we were in this room comparatively. There was consistent confusion from the property regarding my check-in which required my following up multiple times across multiple platforms and still had to call for the access code to the room at the time of check-in (there definitely seemed to be a disconnect between the fact that I had paid in full on hotels.com and their system saying I owed an additional $375). So not the most comfortable way to arrive after a 6am flight & then driving 2 hours from Phoenix. Ultimately their team member Rose was able to provide me the access code but it's made me swear off these types of listings for the future. Parking was also a bit frustrating as it was difficult to back out of certain spots.
