Beds were very hard.

Beautiful property with gorgeous rooms styled like a hacienda. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had plenty of hot water, although I was encouraged not to use too much in order to save scarce water resources. Had kettle to boil water and free instant coffee. Free bottled water was available, although I prefer not to use one-time-use plastic bottles. Lovely friendly staff with good communication. Safe gated parking. I really appreciated recommendations of local restaurants. You can easily walk to most places around town.

Note that Google maps will not take you to the right place. Staff will send you a map link beforehand. Look at where the lodge is located and navigate to it. It was cold enough that I didn’t open any windows, but I can see the need for window screens to avoid mosquitoes. Citronella candle was available in the room, although not matches… which I am certain would’ve been provided if I had asked. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Si tu viaje es para relajarte en pareja es el lugar ideal, la quietud del lugar y la tranquilidad son muy amenas, tienen alberca para pasar un rato de diversión y la comida es deliciosa. Nosotros notamos la experiencia del temazcal, muy buna experiencia, aunque debes de reservar con anterioridad.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt – ein Ort zum Ankommen und Durchatmen Der Aufenthalt bei Fernanda war einfach wunderschön. Das gesamte Grundstück ist ein absoluter Traum – eine echte Auszeit inmitten der Natur. Die Berge, die friedliche Umgebung, der liebevoll gestaltete Garten und die besondere Atmosphäre machen diesen Ort zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Auch das Essen von Fernanda war unglaublich köstlich und mit viel Herz zubereitet. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr angenehm und lädt dazu ein, wirklich abzuschalten und neue Energie zu tanken. Wer sich erholen möchte und gleichzeitig nah am Zentrum von Oaxaca sein will, ist hier genau richtig. Ich war sehr traurig, dass ich meinen Aufenthalt nicht verlängern konnte – und werde ganz sicher wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

This place is amazing! Located a short distance outside Oaxaca City, it offers a quieter, more serene experience while still being close to all of the attractions. The hosts were incredibly helpful and always responsive to any of our requests, including helping to arrange transport to both the city and the airport. The beds were comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water, and the courtyard offers ample opportunities to relax and enjoy the experience.

Very peaceful location with beautiful grounds and classic Oaxacan decor. Excellent hosts and exceptional communication skills.

La ubicación del hotel cercano a Oaxaca capital y al pie del inicio de la sierra, nos dió la oportunidad de descansar en habitaciones silenciosas y amplias durante la noche y durante el día, de sentarse a disfrutar de plática y una buena taza de café en sus terrazas y hasta de caminar por el huerto. Todo simpre lleno de colores y olores que caracterzan a Oaxaca y que llenan los sentidos. Lo mejor, las vistas del amanecer.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Loved the agua fresca. The grounds are beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful. Fernando and Fernanda could not have been more lovely and attentive. They arranged for a taxi, helped us with laundry, and are always available to help or assist. We enjoyed them both very much.

It would be great if there was screens on at least a few of the windows. We wanted to open the windows at night for cross ventilation but couldn’t because of the mosquitoes. A few hooks to hang bath towels. These are incredibly minor things, and are meant as suggestions for possible improvements. I would stay again in a heartbeat and plan on returning!
