There are some nightclubs nearby and some nights it can get really loud all night

Too noisy on weekends

Close to beach, close to great restaurants. Wonderful staff. And the weather is perfect. We have been going to Puerto Escondido for over 7 years, and during that time we have seen rain only one day at night!

It’s a party town, and on weekends the music can be distracting.

This hotel is located in a convenient location and minutes from the well known surfing beach of Playa Zicatela. It’s also a short walk to many area restaurants, beach clubs, coffees shops, vendors, pharmacies, etc. The front desk staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are super clean and daily maid service is included. The only issue I experienced, was the loud late night / early morning music, from a nearby nightclub on weekends.

The location is great, there are really good restaurants, cafes and beach bars within a 5 minute walk and the beach is just around the corner. Staff were friendly and spoke great English.

The room was so bright, from dawn til dusk, that it would have been impossible to sleep without blackout sleep masks (which luckily we had). Thank god we were only staying one night over a weekend (a Friday), because on that night the thumping bass music went on until nearly 6am and could still be heard through foam earplugs AND noise cancelling headphones. The bathroom smelled really bad the entire time we stayed, even though we kept the window open all the time. My boyfriend said the smell was like a really bad mens toilet. I don't think this was a cleaning issue by the staff, I think it was a drain issue, but it was still pretty disgusting.

Next to the beach

It was a great experience, very clean and above all it has air conditioning and parking for a car.

The room was basic with strong stench emanating from the bathroom and the AC not working as well. Since we were tired and came in late we just crashed. We got the house keeping to clean our room on day 2 and the AC got fixed as well. The stench from the bathroom reoccurred in the night again and we concluded it was due to faulty drainage. Overall our experience was very poor compared to our exceptional stay in Oaxaca city.

Stayed for couple nights from 28-30th Dec. The hotel rooms need serious renovation. The services are suboptimal to say the least. Unfortunately there is. Nothing Grand about this hotel.
