Viajero Oaxaca Hostel

The design of the hostel is really cool. There are loads of day trips and activities organised by the hostel which is a lovely way to meet other travellers. The bar area was great - we really loved spending time up there. The hostel would regularly put on social events up there. The staff were really friendly with fantastic English. Despite this being a more sociable hostel, people were really respectful of the quiet hours so we never had an issue with noise when trying to sleep.

Quiet a few of the rooms have windows onto a passageway and because we were on the ground floor this meant our room got very little natural light. The room we found was also quite stuffy and the ceiling fan was quite noisy.

- good Location. Close to the center but calm enough to sleep - reception staff was very good (especially Luiz) - lots of activities offered (even though many are overpriced and so too few people sign up). - The welcome drink helps to connect people

- super bad wifi - my room was extremely humid and hot. It felt like a sauna and smelled bad.. There was no AC, just extremely loud fans. I think the peivate rooms were great though

Cet Hostel est incroyable. Le cadre et l’environnement sont superbes. La piscine est très agréable et les chambres sont propres, spacieuses et les lits confortables. Le personnel est très agréable, je remercie particulièrement Angelo pour son attention lors de ce séjour, il a été d’une gentille incroyable, ainsi que tous les autres volontaires

La cuisine pourrait être un peu plus équipée et la piscine nettoyée plus régulièrement

We stayed in a double room which was a lovely size and decorated simply, but nicely. The building itself is lovely, and not loud at all. The staff are very helpful.

Drinks and food at the bar were a little expensive. Beds a little firm but not uncomfortable. Windows didnt seem to lock properly but it didnt feel unsafe.

No airconditioning so the rooms were too hot
