Die Lage ist eine 11 von 10. Auf der ruhigeren Seite von Holbox mit Top Aussicht aufs Meer. Der Rooftop Pool ist super und passt zum Namen Luxury Villa. Manuel (unser Kontakt vor Ort) war super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Haus ist so langsam ganz schön abgewohnt und war auch nicht ganz so schick und so sauber wie erwartet und auf den Fotos. Die Ausstattung war ok aber nicht unbedingt luxuriös. Die Betten sind zB nicht mehr als ne Matratze auf ein paar Holzbalken. Unter unserem Bett hatten wir zwei Kakerlaken. Das kann zwar mal in Mexiko passieren, passt aber auch nicht so zu der Luxury Villa. Der Pool ist Kamera überwacht was die Privatsphäre ganz schön beinträchtigt. Keine Ahnung warum man dort eine Kamera braucht…

The property was stylish with stunning views. Its location allowed for a quiet stay whilst being able to walk to bars and hotels in the evening for some entertainment.

Casa molto bella, con qualche difetto e mancanza (ad esempio lavandini troppo alti, assenza di carta cucina/tovaglioli di carta): in una casa di qualità ti aspetti il top, invece c'erano mancanze che non avrebbero dovuto esserci. Ma ciò che ha influito di più, creando anche nervosismo, è stata principalmente la completa assenza e l'indisponibilità dei proprietari/gestori dal nostro arrivo alla nostra partenza. Perfino il numero che ci avevano detto di contattare corrispondeva al gestore di un altro hotel!! Tutti i numeri che ci avevano fornito ricevuti per messaggio, per whatsapp, su Booking erano irraggiungibili Per cui, dall'arrivo al porto in poi, non abbiamo più avuto alcun contatto con la proprietà. Siamo stati completamente abbandonati, ma con le nostre esperienze di viaggio e grazie ad una tassista siamo arrivati a destinazione. Lì nessuno ci ha aperto e quando, dopo circa mezz'ora, siamo riusciti ad entrare oltre il cancello, dopo aver chiamato richiamato tutti i numeri a disposizione, anche con l'aiuto della tassista, abbiamo trovato all'interno un custode che stava effettuando la pulizia e che... era completamente all'oscuro del nostro arrivo!!! Forse un po' più di attenzione verso gli ospiti, dopo aver ricevuto il pagamento, bisognerebbe averla!

Casa Mar was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary with a week away and we would definitely do it again. An added perk we didn’t even realize until arriving was that this house is associated with the Awa hotel brand and you get all the perks of the hotel that is within a 5 minute walk. We loved everything about the experience. Manuel and Maria took great care of us as well!

We had a wonderful time at Isla Holbox, this is my 3rd trip, and one of my favorite warm holiday spots! This time, I was with my two grandchildren, they loved staying at the fabulous home. The photos are very realistic, and the home is gorgeous, clean, quiet, safe and beautifully decorated. My only recommendation would be to improve the quality of the bed pillows. The beds were super comfortable, the pillows could use a refresh. Don't let that stop you from staying here - it was a 9.999 out of 10!
