Hotel Ancla Suites

The location was cool, it's in the downtown part of the city, so everything is near by. They had multiple A/C's, which helped a lot. There was a good amount of space for 4 people.

The walls are super thin. There was silverware missing, and it wasn't clean when we checked in. The shower had a bad design, there is a lot of water spilling. They weren't at office when needed. The parking is really reduced.

The hotel was very cute, in that it was stylishly furnished, everything worked, the beds were comfortable. There was a full length mirror.

Cute also meant that the cute coffee cups were too small. The bathroom counter was taken up with a large decorative sink and so there was no room for shaving kits or make up bags on the counter. I kept spilling my stuff all over the floor. The cups were all plastic and there were no wine glasses of any kind. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The tile floors are not grouted so dirt and dust collects in the joins and especially corners. They need to be cleaned with a stiff brush. Stain on the eating bench. No paper towels. The shower was a walk in with an open door but it was small enough that the water escaped the door and puddled on the floor. We had trouble opening the front door when we arrived and, although there is a door for management, no one was ever there. The phone number on the door went unanswered. It turned out you had to touch under the lock for the key pad to appear. Parking was miserable. The parking is designed for small cars. Everyone who stayed when we were there had suvs or trucks. We left our car and used taxis because it would have been difficult, if not impossible, to repark. One night the parking spaces were blocked by a row of large trucks blocking every other car.
