La conchita Tulum

An amazing hotel right on the beach, 20 meters from the ocean. The rooms are cozy, the hotel itself is so well integrated into the surrounding nature, it feels so nice there.

I liked the room and it's authentic design, the area is very cosy, the beach is lovely, but unfortunately we couldn't not swim because of the sea weeds. Nice cafes are opposite the hotel. Short distance to the town.

Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the beach and swimming because of sargassum. Also it was a bit frustrating that it's said that there is no parking at the hotel, but actually there were parking spots in front of the hotel, says "for guests only", but we were not those guests. The pillow was too thick, couldn't sleep on it.

Geen personeel, weinig informatie over activiteiten, slechts paar restaurants op loopafstand

It is even more beautiful than advertised. I could see and hear the beach right from my room. The location is wonderful, there are a wonderful restaurants right across and beside the hotel. It is easy to get to from Tulum downtown. It is not an isolated area but it is not overcrowded or bursting with traffic either.

Not the hotel’s fault, but the beach here at the hotel in April has a lot of seaweed, so you may not be comfortable swimming in it. However, the seaweed is a rich golden brown/golden yellow colour, it’s actually pretty to look at. The staff also tries to remove/ reduce the seaweed washed ashore, but I think the seaweed serves a purpose because the beach tides and waves are strong and intense.

Falta de estrutura em geral, sem lugar sequer para pequenos almoços, suposto desconto no espaço ao lado para pequeno almoço e jantar, fui jantar ás 18.00h porque o tempo estava mau e a praia cheia de sargaço mas o desconto só começava às 19.00h. Sem comentários

Only facilities are rooms and beach, no bar, cafe, etc. expensive due to being n Tulum.
