ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO - KASA KAKTUS

La ubicacion. Esta super cerca de 2 lineas de metrobus y literalmente en frente hay muchos puestos de comida. Al lado hay un cafe pero esta meh.

En fotos se veia todo muy bonito y la realidad fue otra. El edifico esta muy descuidado. Tanto las areas comunes como la habitacion que nos toco (Kaktus). No teniamos ventana en la habitacion, las paredes estan super maltratadas y el bano tenia una ligera fuga de agua pero si tenia ventana. Ademas en la noche se prendia de repente un generador o una bomba, nunca supimos que era, pero el ruido te despertaba varias veces durante la noche. El area comun de repente olia a drenaje. Y una noche que regresamos a las 2 am habia una cucaracha en la habitacion jajaja.

Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. A very basic kitchen, tea and coffee making facilities, a small courtyard, comfortable beds, quiet at night. It's a great location with plenty of food options at a range of budgets. Close enough to walk to two metro lines. Great value for money for Mexico City.

Rooms were a bit hot and our private bathroom was separate to our room so you had to get dressed to go.

The district Roma Norte is a nice area and the hotel is safe.

You can hear all the sounds in the room. When we closed the window there was a gap of a couple of centimeters so there was a lot of noise from the street at night ant that made it difficult to sleep consistent. Also the floors are coming loose in the room.

La ubicación es excelente, hay muchas cosas qué hacer. Incluso afuera hay puestos y locales de comida. La atención del personal muy buena, siempre al pendiente y dispuestos a ayudar.

El cuarto no tiene ventanas, salvo una que da a una área común y no se puede tener abierta siempre. Esa ventana no cerraba bien. La humedad es horrible, mi ropa se sentía mojada y en las paredes había salitre. El sillón del cuarto se veía sucio y estaba rotó en algunas partes. Le falta amor al cuarto. No hay un lugar para poner el shampoo y jabón del cuerpo, se caía. Y la regadera no tenía la cabeza dispersora y eso causaba que el agua saliera mal.

Ubicación, relación precio calidad, atención.

Una caja de seguridad para objetos y papeles importantes.

Hotel stosuje o overbooking. Mimo opłacenia rezerwacji w całości za cały pobyt, w dniu przyjazdu odwołano moją rezerwację. Dowiedziałam się o tym dopiero po wylądowaniu w godzinach wieczornych w Meksyku. Gdyby nie to, że znajomi, którzy również mieli rezerwację w tym hotelu, przyjęli nas do swojego pokoju, byłabym zmuszona o godz. 22.00 do poszukiwania nowego noclegu. Nie polecam, jeśli ktoś nie chce mieć podobnie nieprzyjemnej niespodzianki i zostać bez dachu nad głową nocą w centrum miasta.

The location is awesome. Beds are comfy...that's it

The quad room smelled humid & musty (in January). We told the owner and he didn't do anything about it. There's no front desk person or no one to ever greet you & assist with check in or assistance. OUR PILLOWS & WALLS HAD MOLD ON IT! Lack of info/inaccurate descriptions: For the quad room it doesn't say that the bathroom ISN'T connected to the room For the balcony room it doesn't explain that the balcony isn't a real balcony. It's a standing only balcony (so tiny). There's only a fan so when it's hot it's sooooo hot. When it's cold it's sooo cold. No heater. No signage so the hostel is confusing to find Could be cleaner
