Casa Madero La Paz

Es un hotel tipo airb&b muy cómodo pues esta muy cerca del malecón y de restaurantes. Nos tocó una habitación con cama King size super cómoda. El personal muy atento y rápido.

I love that the room has its own kitchenette. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything about the room and bathroom were very clean and convenient. The women that were cleaning rooms were very kind and welcoming. The keyless entry is especially nice when you are going out to do water activities and do not want to have to carry the key on the beach.

The location is 2 blocks from the beach, but the sidewalk going up the two blocks is very steep. Plan on using a cab if you are taking luggage with wheels as the rocky paths are not very easy to navigate. Same for the room we stayed in, there are very narrow spiral stairs leading up to the room. It is beautiful, yet hard to navigate with large suitcases.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy checkin. Availability and use of a common kitchen very helpful.

Bathroom floors were not swept completely. Shower fixture hot and cold water valve not easy to figure. Minor issue.

Water in the shower wouldn’t get hot AT ALL. I’d been in a van for the 5 previous days and all I wanted was to take a long hot shower. No dice. And there wasn’t anyone on property. I was lucky to run into the cleaning lady when I arrived and she let me in and gave me the door codes. I wasn’t contacted by anyone at the property until about 5 hours later. Not the easiest check in.

My friend and I booked this place for the location which is good. Unfortunately the room that we reserve was on the sidewalk of the busy street of Madero street was a space that meant to be for an office no really suitable for an accommodations. The bed was quite comfortable but the bathroom needs a counter space to place your toiletries. Hot water was on the wrong side and very limited.
