Hidden gem in a beautiful cove in Hualtuco.

Even though we weren't staying here, we ate here twice - it was that good! The food is very fresh and beautifully presented - a focus on local foods, but with a slightly elevated twist. The setting is absolutely gorgeous - you can sit inside or outside, whatever you prefer, and the view day or night is stunning. The staff are very attentive and very knowledgeable, and the food arrived quickly and efficiently. The menu changes a lot, so no real point in giving specifics, but suffice to say we were impressed by everything we had! Lunch and dinner, appetisers, drinks, desserts - nothing disappointed. Absolutely loved it - you have to try them out!

My wife & I learned of this beautiful, intimate, boutique hotel several months before we stayed for 1 week in Jan'24. I travel a lot overseas for business and stay in many great hotels. Casa Cieba ranks up there with one of the best small properties my wife and I have ever stayed at. The staff, the grounds, the food, the personalized service, the room we stayed in, the views of the Pacific, the communication with the hotel, were all 1st class. Thank you for such an incredible week. It was very difficult leaving. We certainly hope to return.

The property is beautiful, the staff are lovely and very accommodating, and you are only a short drive/inexpensive taxi ride to the beaches and Crucecita. Will definitely stay here again.

We have loved every minute of our stay!! The accommodations are on point and the staff is very attentive and helpful….we had a four day stay over new years and the celebration was lovely and fun! The views are incredible and the overall vibe is very relaxing… they even have a beach picnic package complete with a lunch and drinks of your choice packed in a backpack cooler and a beach tent!!!Let’s talk food!! The menus are creative and absolutely delicious 🙌We will 100% be booking again with them In the future!! Can’t recommend this place enough❤️

Cons This is a new resort so they are still working a few things out especially in the food area." They offer a free breakfast which is a bit of a stretch. You get a very small bowl of fruit with a couple table spoons of yogurt. The basket of breads is not consistent , 2 days we had very nice buns, next day 2 pieces of bread and the next 2 days cookies. We have stayed at many villas before that offered free breakfast and we got a full breakfas I can not comment on their lunch or dinner as we never ate there. Pros The staff are truly amazing!!! I can’t say enough enough about the staff they were at your service at all times and would do anything to try and make your time there better. The rooms are big with a beautiful view of the ocean The pool was a nice size, very clean and looked over the ocean.. They were cleaned every day and done very well. The beach is advertised as a 4 mi. Walk away which is not the fact at all. As I said they just opened in Nov so I’m sure the few problems they are having will be fixed soon especially their breakfast or not advertise free breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay here again with there strong point being their great staff!
