"very comfortable lodging and nothing to complain about"

I ended up staying in two different units during my stay -- long story, not relevant -- so I experienced both a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom. Both were perfectly fine. You would really have to search for something to complain about. And I liked the proximity to good food: restaurants if you don't want to cook, Trader Joe's around the corner if you do.

As noted above, there's really not a thing to complain about. I suppose one could whine about the price, because it's not cheap, but (I'm pretty sure) that is just the nature of the beast in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago. It might also be nice if there were an El station within easy walking distance, but that's the neighborhood.
