Angelina 28 Beachfront and Family Apartments - Modern and Relaxing Long Stays (20 min from Cancun Airport)

The apartment was really big and nicely designed, great view of the ocean, and the guy at the front desk was super welcoming. Perfect for overnight stay.

We stayed here because we were flying out of Cancun next day. It probably is a 20 minute drive to the airport if you are going at Mexican motorway speeds : ) BUT if there is an accident on highway (as we had) it can be three times as long. The beach in front of hotel is pretty but dangerous, many hidden rocks. You have to be an expert (Australian :)) swimmer to go in further than your knees. The pool looks only good for small children.

Staying here truly felt like a vacation for our family of four. The rooms were very spacious, and having three bathrooms was incredibly useful after coming back sandy from the beach. The location was overall good, we loved that the Caribbean Sea was so close, and being able to see it directly from our window and enjoy the view practically 24/7 made the stay even better. Puerto Morelos isn’t far and is great for families, with restaurants, big markets, and playgrounds. The rooftop jacuzzi was a lovely addition, and the hosts were very friendly. We also appreciated being on the ground level because it was very convenient. And the sunrises were absolutely amazing.

There’s no market within walking distance, so shopping requires a drive to Puerto Morelos. The only real downside of having a ground‑floor apartment was that people walking on the beach could see inside, which reduced privacy.

The staff was very nice to us and attentive. The view from the pool on the ocean is beautiful. It is possible to go walk on the beach for miles and come back. The apartment was very spacious and well equiped, and it was a very comfortable stay.

The building and the apartments were clean, but are poorly maintained and unfortunately, it shows. The rooftop felt completely abandonned, and so did the jaccuzzis. It is a shame because the place has a lot of potential. Another thing to know is that you need a car to access the hotel, and the road is like a minefield, so beware of that.
