Anat Tantric Boutique Hotel

Great place and the rooms are very nice. The amenities were over priced and the staff was great but they are there for their job and nothing more. Meaning they are friendly but they don’t go above and beyond, like carrying your luggage. I only mention this is because they asked for a tip and all they did was their job. Tips, in my opinion are earned. But over all the rooms are very nice and private.

Great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would be nicer if it was a little closer to Central Tulum so it was walkable. Otherwise, nice, quiet, and clean!

Our overall stay was great! There are a few constuctive criticisms we have. 1st, there were 2 closets but nowhere to hang clothes. There was no rod to hang off of in either closet. You basically have 2 closets to put your bags in. 2nd, the steam room is an additional charge which was not disclosed prior to arrival. 3rd, only 2 bath towels, 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel which was needed for stepping out of the shower onto. The towel issue was quickly remedied by the amazing staff. Food was believed to be served from 8am until 1pm but was actually only served from 8am until 11am. 4th, the safe was non-operational upon arrival and took until the next day to fix. Truthfully, these were not make or breaks for us, the staff was attentive to our needs and requests and were very polite and accommodating. Even after our list of constructive criticisms, we will absolutely be going back. This place is new and we understand that they are ironing out kinks and have no doubt that by the time of our next stay, they will be squared away.

I love these types of small boutique hotels. You get very personalized attentive service. You get to know the small number of staff. Having a personal & private plunge pool was fantastic. It was just far enough out of town to feel more quiet and private without the crowds or constant barrage of people hawking their wares, but close enough to get to restaurants and shopping with a fairly short drive. For a very minimalist experience the room was well designed. One or two chairs to sit in would have been nice, but there was a sitting area outside the room by the plunge pool.
