Great service very attentive to anything we needed. Very clean. Location was perfect 2 min walk to the beach. Nice staff

Great location and very good quality hotel. The shower pressure was almost non-existant, which made it very difficult to wash hair. It was also difficult to get hot water; only warm at best.

Beautiful, spacious and worth the money

The staff here was top tier!! Everyone was so nice, friendly, and helpful. The room was perfect and the beach was right there. They also gave us welcome drinks and had complimentary mocktails each day and little snacks. Their popcorn was delicious!! They also offer turn down service each night and left cookies for us in our room. Breakfast was a separate charge and depended on what you got. For breakfast they have the option to have it delivered to the room or you can eat it outside in their seating area which is also really nice! Overall we loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!!

Not walking distance to downtown Carmel. (20-30 minute walk uphill.) 1) Be aware that this property does not have a parking spot for all of their rooms so if you return after they are full you are on your own for parking your car. 2)The television in my room did not work properly taking two or three attempts to select anything. I gave up. 3)The rooms have nice big windows for lots of light but they really limit privacy as other guests walk close to the windows.

The car service!!! Electric bikes and guest services were top notch.

Couldn’t get room coffee machine working. Would get an upper floor room next time for privacy from people walking around the property

The Carmel Beach Hotel is at best an average facility but charge rates more in line with 5 star resorts. Carmel is known as a dog friendly town and many of the hotels in town advertise as being dog friendly. Notably, when hotels typically charge a fee, they generally mention it in the hotels' promotion so you can decide whether you want to bring Fido along. And upon arrival, hotels usually accompany any fee with a little treat or water bowl to make our furry friends welcome. We choose the Carmel Beach Hotel in part because they also welcomed dogs but it' wasn't until we were checking in that they told us that there was an additional $250 charge for a pet and not even a dog biscuit to ease the surprise. We spent one night there in a very average room and we won't be back.

Lovely relaxing few days! Can’t wait to go back!
