This hotel is located in West Vail, just about 7 minutes drive from Lionshead Village. We had a Mountain View and the room was perfect for us. Very clean and although near the highway, no traffic noise. As we didn’t feel like driving for dinner, we had our meal at the bar. AC was welcoming and filled us in on the amenities in the hotel we might have missed. He was a great host and gave a great wine recommendation once we figured out none of the beers on tap was to my taste. The breakfast had a good variety with lots of toppings for the oatmeal and waffles. We appreciated the onsite parking, for which there was a charge that was explained as we checked in. Overall, if you are looking to stay a little bit away from “downtown” Vail, then highly recommend this Residence Inn!
