Totem Beach Club - Celestun

The suites are great. The beach is beautiful. The pools are Ok. The food is delicious. Feels like a resort. The bathrooms and showers outside the pools are very nice. The beds are very comfy and the pillows are great. There is AC in every room.

The very limited options in food and very limited ammount of drinks they include with the expensive brekfast is very little. Truly, it should be an all inclusive resort for the price they charge. The size of the bungalow/standard room is a joke, two people barely fit (it feels like you have to suck in your bellyin order to fit). And the suites don't have a cloth line to hang wet clothes. The staff never made/fixed the upper mattress of the bunker bed [and I stayed 3 nights]. The servers were rarely attentive, they were 95% of their time surfing on their phone. The hotel.has no security at all, not a single guard, not even at night. The beach is kinda dirty with trash the guests throw away. The pools have lots of insects floating around and their water is not very crystal clear. The rooms should have mosquito nets, specially the bungalows, since they are very tiny and need natural ventilation; mine smelled to humidity the whole time. The chefs should ALL prepare the dishes the same way, my first breakfast on my first morning was amazing and delicious and abundant but the other next two mornings were disappointing. The closets in the bungalow are tiny, don't take medium luggage with you or it won't fit. There are no places to hang your wet items.

Amazing place to stay at Celestun, people were very friendly, and the property was very clean and nice. The food was amazing too!

I guess the answer is in the name "Beach Club" rather than "Hotel" As we were touring the region and were staying there to visit the Biosphere ( which was stunning) , rather than just staying overnight to spend a couple of days at the beach, the room was far too small. Once we got the suitcases in there wasn't much room to get around the bed. The road just behind the room is prone to the noise of speeding scooters / motorbikes and stray dogs at night unfortunately.

El personal del hotel fue muy amable y siempre estuvo al pendiente de nuestra estancia, especialmente Estefania, Muy bonito hotel y se come muy bien!

El precio que nos cobró Booking, estaba muy por arriba de lo que lo pudimos haber reservado en otra parte

The beach area is amazing , service and food is great!

Value for what you get, very basic facilities.
