Lodge at Schroon Lake

The location was beautiful. The facilities were very nice and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were free facilities- pool/ hot tub/ sauna, mini-golf, pickleball courts, beach on the lake.

The pickleball rackets and net needed a little help, but it was fun. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Property was beautiful. Loved the outdoor fire pits and live music. The water access was great, we didnt get to the outdoor sporting options but the area looked well kept and fun. Hot tub was small but did the job. Staff was kind, cookies at check-in were a lovely touch. Only 4 stars bc the rooms are not great, bed isnt terribly comfortable, the walls are quite thin, could hear conversations clearly in the hall and a baby crying in a room down the hall in the middle of the night. Maybe more decor on the walls could help, or something that covers the gap below the door. We didnt spend much time in the room, and would still stay here again!

The grounds were spectacular--such a beautiful setting! Lots of perks for family activities onsite even though we were traveling out of season.

I liked the private beach, boat rentals and on premise dining and fire pits. Staff friendly

Most beautiful place in the ADK. Perfect and blissful

Had an issue with the room i booked and instead of just having maintenance fix the problem the staff moved us to a much smaller room than what i was paying for and told us the manager would move us back into the original room the next morning. I waited until 11:30AM and still heard nothing back, so i went to the front desk and they told me the manager doesnt come in until after 12PM. An hour later they text me and say i can go back to the room. The staff could have just kept me informed and handled the situation better instead of keeping me in the dark the entire time. I work in the service industry and this was an abysmal experience compared to how theses situations should be handled.

Beautiful part of the country and a little gem of a resort

Great location and facilities. Very family friendly. Restaurant excellent. Area much less crowded than Lake George and Schroon Lake public beach is perfect for swimming and kids beach sand activity.
