The Boardwalk Inn

There was roaches in the room, even frozen in the freezer. Dogs constantly barking 24/7. And reeked of Marijuana in the hallways & rooms. Even with non-smoking signs everywhere. When i went to the front desk with these complaints, the guy just said uhh ok. Nothing was resolved. The breakfast was terrible as well. Highly disappointed with the stay. Would never stay here again, or recommend this place. Avoid at all costs!

Stairwell dirty and creepy. Questionable looking people hanging around outside. My daughter and I felt unsafe.

Location, price, outdated, not clean.

Our room had extensive black mold growth on the walls, which we discovered the following morning when the wallpaper began peeling. We were unable to reach management, and despite receiving contact information, we have yet to receive a response from the owner or management. This significantly impacted our vacation, forcing us to carry our luggage and causing no place for a nap for our toddler, delaying our check-in until late afternoon at another hotel. I am concerned that the mold problem may not have been properly addressed, and that other guests may be placed in these rooms. I would add photos but the hotel.com site is not working properly for me to add photos.

When entering the building, it smelt musty. There was trash scattered throughout the hallway. The dresser drawers had things leftover from previous guests. The bathroom tile was filthy. The bathtub had a film to it and discolored bottom. Overall, we got what we paid for. The employees were friendly and extremely helpful! The location is prime.

It was a good place to stay

Bed need new mattress it had hump in middle, carpet are old and dirty. Room had musty smell when came in. We have been staying there for years but think it’s time to find new place they need to do some updates and clean.
