Very nice new rooms. Good breakfast.

We absolutely loved this motel!!! It was so charming and comfortable and the owner/manager was very helpful and welcoming! Our only regret is that we didnt get to stay longer than one night. We will definitely stay at the Dixie Motel on our future trips to the area.

We sent my parents here as they waited for power to be restored it was the best little getaway for them. They loved it here and I can’t wait to visit myself!

Adorable renovated motel.

Our stay here was So Amazing. We drove in forbthe George Straight concert. Loved everything about the place. Karl made us feel at home. Very humbled and kind spirited. We loved all the remodeling features and amenities that were provided with our stay. If we come back this way we would Definitely stay here again

The room was very clean, the property was very clean and neat. Sarah was great and check on our arrival. Once there she showed us around and just made us feel very welcome. You can tell that the owners take pride in their establishment and it shows from the homemade jams/jelly’s at breakfast to the very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed in Brenham for the George Strait concert in College Station. I was pleasantly surprised that the gentleman who greeted us at check-in was the owner, Carl. He and his wife were super friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The rooms had been meticulously restored from their former original 1952 build and were immaculate. I loved the vintage meets modern feel. Got to show my teenage son a “record player” put it to use with his pick of a vintage ZZTop record. We also loved the touches of organic coffee to brew along with a small bottle of organic whole milk in the vintage mini-fridge. If we ever have to be back in the area we will be back to the Dixie Motel for sure!

This place was so cute, we enjoyed our stay very much. The service was excellent. 10/10 would stay again.

Great rooms for an overnight stay. Local motel that feels like a hotel. The owners were nice enough to show me the entire property and give a history of the motel
