If you are looking to watch tv in your room and need AC, this might not be the place for you. That being said, this place was fantastic, gorgeous views of scenic Lake George, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Lake George. With so many activities to do on site. From a baseball/softball/ Kick ball field, shuffleboard, Watersports, a gymnasium. It would be a perfect place to go with a big family, a large group of friends, or if you want to unplug from the daily madness of being connected to our phone/ laptops/ electronics.

Better than expected, great property, lots of activities, beautiful views, clean rooms, accommodating staff. Would return!

The place was absolutely gorgeous and staff so friendly. We did have to leave on Sat instead of Sun due to illness. Dan had an issue of redness and swelling on his right leg. Took to ER back home and possible blood clot and infection. But it all made it hard for him to be able to walk around. Became even more painful by Sat.

Very clear place and and very calm

NOT ALL ROOMS HAVE AC, pay attention to what you are booking. It’s clearly specified. Nonetheless there were people complaining about their rooms being too hot. The YMCA in the name is not just a historical reference. This place was comfortable but definitely Christian-themed. As a woman traveling solo, I stood out. Felt awkward but nobody was openly rude or anything. I think it’d be a great place for a family trip regardless of your religion. Just don’t mention that it reminds you of the resort from “Dirty Dancing” lol. I had trouble finding food, as I arrived after the dining hall closed (7pm). Had to drive 30 minutes to find an open restaurant. The pizza place in the “gift shop” was not open. Check in was more focused on telling me where to park than how to find my room, or food, or anything. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, unfortunately. Overall - unusual but comfortable, would book again.
