Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Cullman

This hotel was in the perfect location for our trip and the staff was amazing we will definitely be back to stay again.

Breakfast was not good, only downside

They did not have both of my rooms at time of arrival stating that booking.com only had one reservation. That is true that it was one reservation but for 2 rooms. I had to spend too much time calling booking.com to get it fixed. That should not be my responsibility to fix a reservation that I made for 2 rooms. I even showed the clerk my email for 2 rooms and he said he could not help me.

BED BUGS DONT STAY HERE. Let’s begin with our arrival. To start it all off, we received a room with an AC that did not work. Mind you it was 80 degrees in our room when we arrived. Not sure why it wouldn’t be checked in the first place. After being moved, we spent our first night in the new room. When we woke up the next morning we were getting ready to go to Rock the South and my sister finds a BED BUG CRAWLING ON TOP OF THE BED. After I looked some more, I found many more on the headboard, the wall, and even under the bed. After speaking with someone from the front desk they moved all of our things to a new room (2 doors down the hallway) while we were gone, but with other issues to be solved. After all of our belongings being contaminated from the first room, we brought everything into the second room (more to come on this issue). After asking what we should do about the items (our personal blankets, pillows, clothes, bags, etc.) the staff suggested we just keep everything off the bed and we would be fine. We did not lay our heads with peace of mind one night the entire time we stayed at this hotel. After speaking with the manager about receiving a refund before the end of our trip, he mentioned that I would have to go through booking.com to receive it. After speaking with booking.com, they said that the hotel could not come to an agreement on any sort of reimbursement for our stay. So, not only did I spend $2000 dollars on a hotel for our stay (10 hours away from home), I now have to worry about bringing bed bugs back into my home when i get back. We had to throw items away, and get everything else professionally cleaned so that we do not bring them into our home. Let’s also mention the bites from the bed bugs that I am still currently dealing with. They are all over both of our bodies. They itch so bad it feels like you want to scratch your skin off.
