I booked this very last minute for a quick weekend getaway with my dog. I didn’t expect much from a beach motel but my experience well exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with all the basics. The linens were all white and very clean/fresh and the towels were plentiful. The AC and the hot water were both great. The room and bathroom felt spacious and the patio had a great view of the ocean. I even watched the sunrise from my bed! The check-in process via the app was super smooth, and the staff sent regular updates via text which was very helpful. I also loved the keypad entry which meant I didn’t need to keep up with a key on the beach. The motel is right in the heart of Kure and steps away from the restaurants, convenience store, the pier, and the cutest little mobile coffee spot (Kei Cafe) which I visited both mornings with my dog. There is work being done on Kure Pier right now, which means there’s a huge pipe along the back of the beach. But beach access from motel was still super easy and the work wasn’t really an issue for me. I am glad I stumbled on this little motel and would gladly stay again!

I’d love to see a full length mirror in the room but that’s minor.
