Americana Motor Hotel

I was initially drawn to the Kitschy vibes, retro decor and outdoor spaces.

The room was dusty and the carpet had stains. My travel partners room was musty and smelled like wet dogs. I would have wanted to stay elsewhere had we stayed in town longer. The pool was super cloudy and dirty, with trash and food lying around the pool grounds and stains on the lounge furniture. I soon realized that the Kitschy vibes and retro decor were just to try and distract you from how run down and dirty the place is.

We were doing route 66 and stayed here for one night. The staff was amazing along with the beds, being comfortable and the outdoors with the fire pits. I would stay here again.

Dieses Motel hat wirklich unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es hat einen ganz speziellen Style und eine super schöne Park und Pool Anlage, es hat sogar Feuerstellen vor Ort und es ist alles sehr farbenfroh, auch eine Diskokugel im Zimmer hatten wir noch nie. Das Bad ist Top und sicherlich erst neu renoviert worden und alles sehr sauber und sogar Bademäntel hat es in den Zimmern was nicht üblich ist in Motel.

Die Musik am Pool könnte ein bischen leiser sein, aber wir sind auch schon ein bischen älter. Leider war die Poolbar nicht geöffnet.

Everything!! The staff was wonderful!! What a fun place to stay!! My favorite hotel by far and I travel a lot for my kiddos sports!! Great atmosphere!! Loved the decor!

How small the fridge was in the room and the bar at the pool wasn’t open. Wish the restaurant would open earlier

There wasn't much to not like about the hotel, if anything I would say they didn't have towels available at all times at the pool.

I loved everything about the property. We got a first floor room in the first building and we loved it. The decor, the disco ball, the view, the staff. It was an excellent stay. It is an older hotel but it has been re done and it was so fun and best to stay here. The bath room was huge! We loved it and recommend if you are doing Route 66 or just need a place to stay in Flagstaff.

There was only one thing we didn’t like about the property and it was not the owners fault. We could hear the people staying above us, we heard their every move as they walked across the floor. Probably just because it is an older place. It’s still an awesome place to stay. We would stay again.

Great retro vibe. Beautiful decor, looks brand new, very clean. Visually amazing! Staff was very kind. Neat offerings like bikes and telescopes to borrow. Pool is perfect. Easy in and out. Affordable. Really great place along Route 66

Restaurant said it was open at 7AM, which would have been perfect because we needed to head out early. We had $10 breakfast vouchers and were looking at the menu at about 7:15AM. A restaurant worker was getting things ready and said they would not be open for another hour at least. We could not wait that long, so hit the road and stopped by a great breakfast place a couple blocks away. Disappointing since the vouchers came with the stay, but didn’t ruin the overall happy the vibe the hotel puts you in.

Very clean and quit rooms Unique Interior with 60s appeal. Friendly stuff and complementary drinks. Pool area is clean and big. We would come again. Nothing to complain about
