Holiday Inn Express and Suites Destin Miramar Beach by IHG

Room was not ready at 6:30pm had to wait til 7:30pm. Check-in was supposed to be at 4;00. Air conditioner did not keep the room cool throughout the night. Woke up In The morning and the kitchenette was flooded from the refrigerator. All of the juice dispensers were out of order for the breakfast bar.

On site fees was 1 1/2 times the nightly fee and not returned for 7-10 days after departure.. way to excessive! Mgmt was not cordial and explained fee was because they had rooms destroyed recently.. this should not be everyone’s fault.. 50 dollar incidental ok but not 250 on a 180 room… you will not get good quality people to stay here with a policy as such.. we will go elsewhere.

We checked in couple hours early and had to pay extra for that but just checkin in took about 50 mins.

My stay was amazing I have 4 kids and we were all comfortable. The room was spacious and had alot of nice amenities. Our cable did go out on the tv but due to Andre and the staff they were amazing and had accommodated us and kept us updated until they solved the problem. The pool was amazing for the kids they had it all to their selfs. Breakfast was out of this world plenty of options to choose from. Rate this hotel 9/10 definitely recommend to stay.

Place is uncontruction, no badge names on employees, feces on floor room was dirty, rudeness, no breakfast. Should receive full refund. We fell like we was lied too.

Property was spacious, modern clean and very comfortable. Friendly and accommodating staff.

This was a fantastic hotel! It deserves a much higher rating than what is listed. It’s very close to the beach and everything else! Tons of food choices within walking distance. It was SUPER clean! You can tell that the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work because it was very well taken care of. The front desk staff was also excellent! They were very friendly and gave us great tips! The price was really low for a 3 night stay. The king room had a nice kitchen type area with separate counter space, sink, fridge and microwave. It was perfect for making lunches before heading out to the beach. Bathroom was also super clean and the hot water was instantaneous! Breakfast choices seem very limited but we didn’t come here for the breakfast! With what you are saving from other establishments you can easily grab breakfast anywhere you want. It seems they were in the process of renovating some rooms and switching to become an IHG hotel. We couldn’t tell at all that there was any work going on. From our room on the second floor we didn’t hear a thing. We will most certainly be staying here again in the future!
