The worst hotel we have ever stayed at. No sink in bathroom, so had to use tiny sink with bar faucet in kitchenette for brushing teeth and face washing. Sink drain was rusted. Water was foul with a heavy sulfur smell. Room ac not good so a dehumidifier was used which required emptying 3-4x a day. Room was abnormally humid regardless of dehumidifier use. Furniture old and dirty. We left a day early since room so bad. Hotel staff was disinterested. We paid to have a room with pool view but given parking lot view. Hotel had no nice area to hang out in evening. Location not near restaurants or downtown. Horrible experience stay at Hotel Manteo. No room updating as website indicated. Picture with nice bathroom on booking.com was totally misleading.

Shower head damaged

Clean towel I’d assume since they were folded. The bed sheets smelt clean.

Pictures of the property are not accurate to how the place looks in person. Pool out of service, manager told me there is a mold problem in every building but the main one. Obviously not cleaned considering the tooth paste on the mirror, coffee grounds around the coffee maker, hair and toothpaste in the sink, sand in the bath tub. When I asked for another room I was takin from a king room with a pull out couch to a double queen rom that seemed more clean but there was a bag over the smoke detector, poop stain in the toilet, hand prints on the mirror

Staff and adjoining restaurant were outstanding. This is the second review I've completed for Wyndham for this property. I know my first review went through since I received a response to it. To restate: I was very pleased with everything about my stay. Awesome, friendly, knowledgeable staff.

It was very quiet, couldn’t hear anything from the surrounding rooms (above and beside). We loved the location and how friendly the staff are

Location was great.

They added 158.00 and 50.00 as pending charges that are still sitting on my charge card even though I paid in full when I arrived and I'm already home. I asked the day manager who basically said there was nothing anyone could do. The system just adds what it wants. The note at the desk said they would add $50 but that would be returned. The 158. Seems pretty random, like I'm paying for someone else's room. Then the day I was checking out they added another $50, again explained as "the system". I'm kind of surprised Wyndham is involved in this hotel. The charges still show on my credit card. I also preregistered online because I didn't want to interact with anyone at check in. My life partner of 54 years together died four months ago and I planned this trip for his birthday. I chose a king size bed for one guest (I'm alone now) and is what I paid for. When I arrived I asked for my key, told them I had preregistered online. The guy asked for my license, handed me a check in paper to be filled out (which I'd done the night before) and was told this was required even though it was a repeat of what I'd done already online. I was then given two keys to a room with two queen sized beds. I didn't have the energy to go back down and deal with the front desk staff. That second bed made me even sadder than I was already.

Clean and comfortable.

Block 3 appears somewhat neglected.
