AC Hotel San Rafael Downtown

Surprised to find such a sophisticated and well priced hotel in San Rafael. Really enjoyed it!

The AC Hotel San Rafael Downtown achieves that rare alchemy: modernist functionality without clinical sterility. Rooms float between minimalist and indulgent—a sanctuary of considered design. The breakfast? A revelation. The kitchen team performs daily miracles that would make Ferran Adrià weep with jealousy. Truly, hospitality's platonic ideal realized.

A beautiful hotel conveniently located in downtown San Rafael

Beautiful clean room with a very comfortable bed! Rooftop bar was good, but could use better Sun shades. The ones they have now are not designed to withstand wind and are very loud.

The staff at the front desk could be a bit friendlier. They were professional, but a smile could go a long way :)

My family had to travel to the Bay Area for unfortunate circumstances (family member in the hospital). This hotel was the one bright spot. The location is perfect, the rooms were great and the staff was excellent. We all thought the price for the location was very good. If we have to return, we will definitely stay here again.

Went to above fifth at the rooftop last year for a quick drink before I headed to dinner, service was exceptional and the cosmopolitan was amazing. Luckily I got there right at sunset to enjoy the view, I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Clean big lobby. New hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. Fantastic european breakfast. The quality was way above the American standards.
