I liked the location a lot.

Matlacha was hit hard by one of the recent hurricanes, but it is slowly bouncing back. This property is in EXCELLENT condition with comfortable room, well stocked kitchen, clean bathroom. The owner was super available. Free laundry. Go to the local places to eat and shop and support the rebuilding.

All we were looking for was a place to hang our hats for one evening before heading to the airport the next morning. We decided to stay here as we wanted to support the Matlacha community which has been so devastated the last couple of years. While our expectations were low, Matlacha on Shoreview far exceeded our expectations. We only rented a 1 bed studio, so the room was pretty basic. However, the room had everything we required for our stay. Wish we had had more time to enjoy the property. Will definitely consider staying here again.

This property is so quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Spacious areas for watching the boats go in and out, bbq and picnic area or just sitting and relaxing. Pool area is awesome and the room is comfortable and spacious.
