Matlacha on Shoreview

Great little private hideway. Enjoyed our stay so much! Will definitely return on our next visit.

This sweet little hotel in Matlacha is such a nice place to stay. It is so well maintained and tucked away inside a residential area. What a gem! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property! Great memories made and watching the dolphins every morning was a nice added bonus.

This property is very nice and a hidden gem. Loved the kayaks available just wished was an easier way to get them in and out of the water. Been a guest there several times and would go back again!!

Matlacha on Shoreview is always perfect! We love relaxing by the pool or having our morning coffee under the tiki watching the boats go out. Quiet, exceptionally clean and well appointed. Stacy is so pleasant and accommodating! Highly recommend this great spot, close to all Matlacha has to offer!💕

Very quiet....clean...the place is very safety

The property itself is beautiful. Staff was very kind and professional. The grounds are well maintained and lovely. The unit had a broken sofa bed - left leg is breaking off and you sink down when you sit. Horrible to sleep on. It was late at night when we went to sleep we did not want to call the property and wake someone up. We opened the sofa bed and no sheets or pillow cases were provided. all that was in the closet were two pillows and a comforter and they knew four people were staying there as we had to give all of our names and it was booked for four guests.Our friends who slept in the bedroom, said the bed squeaked very loudly every time they moved and there was a gentleman on the phone in the next room up until 1:30 in the morning, talking on the phone for over an hour and a half telling someone how to fix something over the phone. They heard every single word he said. When we shut the bedroom door for them for privacy at night, the air did not circulate very well in there at all so they were very hot. So needless to say the four of us did not sleep well at all the entire night. All of this being said it was still a beautiful place to stay if the walls weren’t so thin and bedding was more comfortable. Perhaps another unit would be better to stay in if you book this property. .
