Hotel Galena

We had a great stay. Room was very comfortable and the location was outstanding.

Beautiful Area!! Pros: The hotel is very vintage both inside and out! Very beautiful patio area! The room was cozy and the manager / owner was very accommodating! Cons: Not a whole lot of privacy bc you can hear everyone and everything around you. (They do provide ear plugs) The bed is uncomfortable and very hard. And the bed frame has seen better days. Loud and wobbly.

Nate is a great host. We would stay with him again.

I can’t say that there’s anything we didn’t like about Hotel Galena! The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. They have updated lots of things. But the best part was the service and hospitality. Nate is a wonderful host full of all sorts of tips about the area. He’s just the nicest guy, and doing a great job! Can’t wait to come back again!

Cozy!

The place was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Made sure we had good accommodations and the room had what was needed!

I wish we were able to stay longer, because we had such a nice time at Hotel Galena. Nate has such great hospitality and we felt so comfortable like we were staying at a friend’s house. We had the standard room, but I would have loved to book a whirlpool room next time to relax and unwind from the day. They were already booked up unfortunately. Nevertheless we still were able to rest and relax. The hotel is very close to shops and restaurants as it is right off Main Street. The rooms are comfortable although since the building is old, not entirely sound proof. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but it was nice to know we could use it.

Road construction, the road out front is pretty busy. Ear plugs were provided.

Very clean and comfortable room, excellent choices for continental breakfast, and great location. Free parking was across the street.
