The property was so cool, felt like we were in a movie. The rooms were very thoughtfully decorated and looked exactly like the photos. The staff was very sweet and caring, check in and out was easy and relaxed. Very cozy and unique getaway.
Unusual look to the "village"
The Vikings Village was an absolute delight! The cottage we stayed in was lovely, family friendly but with high end finishes and incredible attention to detail, with hand made carved decorations on the buildings in line with the theme. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen, and very modern bathroom. It was such a refreshing change from chain and commercial hotels. The location is very pretty, set in a wooded area, with the sound of a brook babbling through the forest. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay and we were very pleased to have found it!
Our visit to this wonderful and exceptional resort was memorable. The beautifully appointed natural wooded surroundings are only surpassed by the iconic Vikings Villages cabins and main house/event hall. Our host, Christina, was so welcoming and gave us a tour of the property along with insights into the construction of this fine property. One can easily acknowledge the great care and craftsmanship that went into the building of Vikings Villages. Our main cabin was appointed with first-class furnishings and high-quality linens/accessories and well-appointed kitchen/bedrooms and furniture. The entire Village resort is truly a masterpiece to behold, you are literally transported back in time to a literal Viking village - it truly is a sight to be seen. Please visit and stay at this amazing property - just minutes from historical Guilford / Brattleboro.
