The St. Regis Chicago

There are no words. Just the Best place when I need to feel special. The valet and bell staff and the butler staff just make it feel like you are the only person that matters.

My husband, 85 year old dad, sister and hubby and one of my daughters met downtown to stay at the St. Regis as a bucket list hotel for my dad. The hotel is so beautiful with amazing views. It's a perfect location for so many Chicago activities: Millenium Park, architectural boat tour, Second City, Willis Tower)! We had the chance to eat dinner at Tre Dita and then sit in the bar - both were wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast at Miru which has a killer rooftop view. HUGE should out to Concierge Mark Kraemer, who went above and beyond multiple times during our weekend and other staff members who made this stay a once in a lifetime experience! We can't thank you enough and hope to be back soon!

Stayed at the St Regis for a family event. The hotel was very nice and the staff were amazing. We had top-notch service from the front desk staff, bellhop, and room service. The rooms were wonderful, full of nice touches with the closet and well-appointed bathroom stocked with wonderful bath products. Very comfortable bed. We enjoyed using the gym (amazing views) and the pool. The building is very architecturally interesting and very accessible to running trails along the waterfront. It is toward the end of the river where it meets Lake Michigan so not as close to some attractions but a reasonable walk gets you to some riverfront restaurants and there are amenities (CVS, etc) nearby. I've stayed at some fine hotels around the world and I will put this experience up with those in terms of comfort, style, and service.

You ruined our night. Awful awful. Want a nice shower. No direction. Scaled myself. Froze. Shot from overhead. Wtf. Joke. Lights. wtf. Need engineer degree. Terrible. This was such a special trip. Ruined thanks.

We had the one bedroom suite at the top floor and it was astonishing. The staff were super friendly and helpful and honestly I would say nothing could be better than what we experienced here.

My husband and I recently stayed at both the St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton properties over a long weekend and wanted to experience both (please see my separate review of The Ritz-Carlton which was less than impressive). All in all, the St. Regis was hands down superior to the Ritz in every way. This location in Chicago feels like a true respite away from the hustle and bustle of the city and was quiet no matter where we found ourselves inside. The rooms are very large and as an Ambassador Elite we did receive a complimentary upgrade upon checking in as well as a tray of handmade chocolates delivered to the room at turn-down. The rooftop terrace is a great place to order a drink (you order inside at the bar at Miru but then can take your cocktails outside) and take in the view. We will absolutely choose the St. Regis over the RC the next time we stay in Chicago!
