I must say the view was great but when we first entered the room I have to check out the bathroom. I couldn’t believe that the toilet tank cover was chipped. I took a picture because I did not break it and I did not want to be charged for it. I showed it to the check-in lady on my phone and she noted the damage but did not replace it while we were there. I was looking forward to sitting out on our balcony and when I did at about 4 pm the view was great but there was a dog barking loudly somewhere around the hotel. This was what I left our home to get away from because of our neighbors barking dog. This dog kept barking the whole time we sat out on our balcony. I am sorry but I thought I was getting away from this noise. I was talking to the staff and they said there is a dog park just down from the South side of the hotel and that was probably where the noisy dog was barking from. This is the first time staying in a hotel that has a dog park near it with barking dogs. The next day as I was taking my shower, the bottle of hair shampoo was totally empty. I had to ask my wife for some shampoo. As expensive this hotel is, I was very disappointed in all that happened to us. They had a firepit outside but wasn’t told that there was a switch on it to make the fire appear. I thought it was just shut-off because it wasn’t on the weekend. Beware, there is a dog park with barking dogs just about a block away. The breakfast was fantastic.

Beautiful property with great views of the lake! Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was better than average with a nice selection of hot and cold foods. Would definitely recommend!
