While check in was a breeze and staff at the front desk was friendly, the facilities themselves were lacking - but this is also one of those you get what you pay for situations I suppose. The floors were dirty, a hoodie that fell on the floor was covered in fibers just from touching the floor so not sure when the last time it was vacuumed was. We saw one roach crawling on the tv and ended up killing one that crawled over my hand while asleep in bed. I wasn’t expecting anything incredible with the outside and the price point, but basic cleaning was even neglected in the room. Thankfully the sheets and bed did look and smell clean.

The people running the motel were so nice but the motel was dirty and run down. I woke up in the middle of the night the roach bugs were all over.

Comfortable bed. Looks like updated but could use touch ups. No hooks in bathroom to hang clothes or towels. Great tv.

Nice location

We drove 5 hours to do the Talimena Scenic drive and booked this for 1 night so we could rest before driving back next day. The first room we checked into had a pink pill on the floor and sticky stuff in front of the sink. The front desk person gave us another room to see and that one had black hair on the bed sheets. The woman who I'm assuming is the housekeeper was outside yelling expletives on her cell phone with barefoot children running around her. Music was blaring loudly from a room a few doors down. We weren't expecting hotel level comfort but we were definitely expecting to not feel unsafe and to have a clean room. I asked to cancel and was told I'd receive refund in 72 hours. The charge hit my credit card yesterday and no pending reversal. When I sent message on here about my refund, the response was they do not see my booking. I just want my refund.

The room was so dirty and poorly furnished that we left a day early losing one night’s payment. There were long hairs, bugs, and other pieces of trash on the floors. Only the back of the smoke alarm remained. There was no place to hang ANY of our garments. One piece of furniture had been spray painted silver. A worker who came to move us from one room to another was very nice and helpful. I honestly felt bad for her.

They didn't have my reservation or room i booked on Expedia. The lady i spoke with was nice and gave me a different room. Upon entering my room i found literally 20-30 roaches in the bathroom alone. I immediately left the room and returned my key. I was not offered another room. I dont think i would have taken if it was offered to me. They have a no refund policy. Expedia tried to reach out and obtain a refund but was denied. To be honest i wasn't even going to write a review if the refunded me, but they did not so here i am. I have stayed in some rough place over the years. What it looked like never really bothered me. This is the first room i have ever walked away from and refused to sleep in. To be honest i wouldn't let my dog sleep in the room i was given. Anyway , i found another room at a different location and so should you.

Just a one night stay, on a hiking trip. The property was old. The floor was tiled. I found out it was also dirty, discovered two bugs in the chest of drawers that the TV was on the shower stall did not have a mat, and there was already some water there might have been a leak somewhere, the bed was comfortable and so were the pillows and I did not encounter any bedbugs. I could hear some noise. We were right next to a Walmart and the main road through town and rail road track. The ceiling tiles were old. I did not detect any smells. The air conditioner was newer, and the curtains were sufficient, and the door locks all worked. I would not recommend this motel to anyone unless this was all that you could find it was sufficient for my needs, but it was older, and it also appeared that any repairs or probably done by the family that lived there and motel.

Good condition rooms, well cleaned, very helpful staff.
