Skyview Hotel

Incredible views of the stars at night. Check in was with an incredibly friendly, detailed woman who showed us to our tent. Perfect proximity to explore Capitol Reef National Park the following day.

Everything! The tent had a skylight to see the stars and was like a luxury hotel room more than a tent.. The rooftop viewing area allowed the opportunity to view the entire night sky. Fortunately for us, there was a new moon and no clouds. We watched a meteorite shower. The s'mores and fire made it all the better. Everything was very clean with higher end finishes.

This place is a gem --- the owners are artists and it shows as you walk from the parking lot to your room. Our room was like a mini apartment, with a balcony view from our room.... some rooms have jacuzzi / hot tub options. The roof view at night was STUNNING..... absolutely gorgeous views of solar system. The loungers on roof deck allow you to lay back and star gaze for hours ---- in our 3 hours we counted at least 4 falling stars --- just brilliant if that relaxes you. Meals are just down the road at several places in town --- and they did not disappoint.

We would have stayed longer and not when it was so cold at night ----- it was the high 30's while watching the starts, but we had our jackets and cuddled up to watch this amazing light show.

Just can't get any better than this. My wife and i decided that when we visit again, we won'r even look at other options. Perfect 10.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the views from the rooms are spectacular. The beds were comfortable and there was free coffee and snacks in the room.

There was a steep pet fee ($75) that we were unaware of prior to booking. Also, the hotel is more like a motel with no common areas to congregate, sit, or work.

The style of the hotel was unique with the ropes as the design to mimic the landscape

A unique stay enjoyed the fire pit area was a very nice place to stay. Staff was great the only drawback but truly was not an issue the dome did not have a restroom in the room so it was a walk to our private dome bathroom but wasnt a big deal. We knew that going into it so it was a decision we made, to be ok with and it was fine. Very clean and several places to eat in town just a few minutes away.
