Sky Hotel Flushing/LaGuardia Airport

The only advantage is the location

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in the U.S. The lighting was dim, the smoke detector was damaged with exposed wires, and aside from the lights and TV there were none of the basic amenities you would expect—no fridge, no cups, no ice bucket, no hair dryer. The entire room didn’t even have a single chair or clothes hanger. The towels had other people’s hair on them. I couldn’t believe such a poor living condition cost over $200 per night.

Very basic, the room smell, didn’t have bottled water available.

I liked that the check in was fast and it was 5 minutes from La guardia airport

This hotel was pretty gross, it smelled like smoke there was hair on the towels and weed nugget on the bathroom counter. I didn’t see bedbugs but was nervous they might be present. We needed a place to lay our heads between an international flight from Rome to jfk before our La guardia flight early the next morning home. We only stayed 3.5 hours so it did the job of providing a place to shower and sleep near the airport but it was the most expensive place we stayed our entire trip and the grossest. I guess that’s New York.

For the price the room was horrible.

Toilet stopped up, shower heads nasty and the parking was really bad.
