At first glance the room was attractive and modern, though small, with good quality fittings. However, I would give this hotel a mid-level ranking for the following reasons: -- The advertised "Queen Room" does not have a queen-sized bed! It is a smallish double bed. Fortunately it is a comfortable bed. And the insulated windows do block out street noise so we slept well. -- There is almost no storage in the room. There is only one drawer, and access to this is awkward as it is blocked by a sliding metal grill, which seems to serve no purpose at all. -- Breakfasts in Italian hotels are often disappointing. I was hoping that Hilton, as a large American hotel chain, might offer an excellent breakfast. That was not the case. A lot of the products were of poor quality, such as the very wet scrambled eggs and the sugary orange 'juice'. -- The reception staff are not welcoming at all. Perhaps they haven't been taught how to greet guests in English. -- The 'Garden Inn' has no garden! -- The location is a bit out of the way though there are buses which connect it to the city centre and train station.

Beds are too small. It is french bed size.
