Baraga Lakeside Inn

Nice little place to stay with lake view. Clean.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, it was our favorite hotel during our vacation. The rooms were clean, bright and roomy. The hotel restaurant had fabulous food and a great view of the lake. The pool/hot tub area was nice and well stocked with towels. The staff was friendly and helpful. We even got to listen to the chef sing, she had a nice voice, when we went down to enjoy breakfast, it just made my day.

We stayed on the 3rd floor. Our toilet backed up on the first day and we waited for a plunger and after 20 minutes we went and got one from the front desk. No extra outlets by the bed for c-pap or charger cords. One USB on the side of the clock but we had to unplug it or the night to plug in my c-pap. No Kleenex in the bathroom. Holder was empty. Local dining was ok. Pizza place was cash only and we didn’t know. Dive in dinning was really good but closes early at 6pm. Nothing is open on Mondays. The Skippers bar and grill was only one staff so we left because they were packed with only one waiter. We will try again another trip. Over all I think I look for another place on our next trip.

Clean place to stay for one night.

There are few hotel options around the Baraga area. For that reason, we’ve stay here on a few occasions. Like most accommodations in the UP outside of Houghton, this hotel is outdated and a bit worn out. The staff however, was friendly and helpful throughout our stay and breakfast in the restaurant was quite good.

The hotel is clean. The beds are comfortable. The resturant food was good. The bar made good cocktails. Staff was very freindly

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everyone who worked here was pleasant and kind. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food and service were excellent.
