Staff was friendly and it was really clean, the bed was so comfortable.
The room was very clean. It was a basic room and well maintained. The problems we had? We reserved a room with two double beds for 4 people and there were two bath towels, and one hand towel in our room. The mattresses were hard and so none of got the best night of sleep. It wasn’t a horrible experience but it could have been made better by a little planning on their past regarding towels etc… I would stay again but I would make sure I had everything when I arrived. The morning was hectic without the linens.
They charge $35 more because they said Expedia is posting the wrong fair and someone open our door around 1:30-2:00AM we scream with my daughter. The door was locked and I don’t understand how the person was able to open luckily put the chain on and when we screamed they run away. We hardly slept after that.
Checked in at office inspected room turned around and went to get a refund Room smelled like mildew and some unsavory characters hanging around was told I couldn’t get a refund don’t even think about staying at this place.
Me and my husband came here for an anniversary weekend getaway and had a great time! We got the honeymoon suit and the jacuzzi tub was fantastic! The owner is also very nice and was super helpful. He was very understanding when we locked our key card in our room at midnight. The only cons we had were the bed, and door to the room. The beds could use updating and are pretty uncomfortable (however the mirror on the ceiling definitely helps to forget about the bed 😏) The door to our room gave us a hard time latching shut, but with a good slam wasnt to much of an issues. All in all, we'd love to come back and this family run business is a great escape to enjoy all Jersey has to offer! Thanks for the great stay!
Clean rooms and local places to eat nearby
Very fast check in. Friendly staff. Room was good for the price. Surprisingly quiet for being on main highway. Grounds were clean and no bugs anywhere. Only complaint would be more pillows on the bed or extras in the room. I would definitely stay again!
