Blue Water Beachfront Hotel & Waterpark

This wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed at but it definitely needs some work!! If we hadn't been paying lower off season rates we probably would have requested a refund and found other lodging. They are in the process of renovations which I understand. But the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, the patio doors were filthy, the shower head had very little pressure and then proceeded to leak when we tried to adjust the spray option, the outlets are so loose that our phone chargers kept just falling out and there wasn't even a t.p. roll holder, it had to sit on the bathroom sink. Trish at the desk was friendly, we had no issues with check in, we had plenty of towels and the view of the water was great. We were only in our room to sleep so we didn't go through the hassle of requesting a different room. With so many other options in the area they really need to renovate their rooms in order to stay competitive.

It is good, but it has openings for the next room and they out door to close it from both side's of the rooms which i don't like.

The pool was down. The bed sheet had stains and hair on it. The view was nice.

Nice beach area, quiet compared to other place closer to the ferries.

The property itself was beautiful. Check in was a nightmare. Was directed to go next door with a note, went next door, found another note. Called the number on the note, was told they didn't handle check INS for that property. They directed us to a third property, who made a phone call or 2 and directed us right back to the first property. All of this at 2AM. Went to check out, office was locked. Went back in the room, dropped the key and left.

The bed was perfect. Firm and no roll to the center. Definitely not a mattress from a box! Great water pressure in the shower. Room is very spacious and fabulous vinyl plank floor.

The indoor pool and water park were closed. Nothing said they weren't available when booking. Our TV in the room had lines across the screen and a message to contact the cable provider. The bath vent fan didn't work. Pictures on the wall had cracked glass, balcony door has locks, but there's nothing on the frame for the lock to work. We had to pick up our room key at another hotel, but i was called and given instructions- no problem . Great view!
