Wonderful experience staying in a very historic property

Next to highway and far from Newport

One of our rooms (shared private bathroom) had nowhere to store clothes. It was a small room but a chair or at least a small valet stand or bag stand would have helped. The other room had a dresser at least.

Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner and also a breakfast for ourselves and friends in the morning. Grounds had a flea market that was fun to walk around. Will be back next summer!

Second night modern room with amenities. Nice clean great airflow.

The older room was way too old for us. Very small, no tv. No decent size mirror besides the one over the sink. Difficult to walk up and down narrow stairs inside to get to our room. Gaps under the door- privacy issue for sure. Almost $300 for one night in a queen bed . Never was told the room was an older room with no amenities. Actually never knew there was a drastic difference in the room.

Hi, We enjoyed our stay. The room is small, but quaint. My wife suggested a couple of enhancements that would make it easier to get ready for an outing. Adding a mirror in the bedroom area with lighting to allow for makeup and/or add lighting above the mirror in the bathroom. There were a few people sitting outside our window on the patio and talking after 10:00 Friday night. They weren't too loud, but you might consider a policy limiting sitting outside Room 3's window after a certain time. Thx for listening.
