My Place Hotel-East Moline/Quad Cities, IL

I don't understand the business model of this chain. It is obviously competing with other extended-stay chains like Residence Inn and Home2, but with kitchen cabinets and drawers that are empty. No cookware, no utensils, but they sell them in the lobby. How thoughtful. Also no consideration given to people who like to read at night. The lamp next to the bed does not provide enough light and there is no light above or next to the big chair. The property is located in an industrial area far removed from restaurants and shopping, and there is almost never anyone at the desk Otherwise it was fine.

I have been staying here the past several weeks due to work obligations. I find this location to have helpful staff and a comfortable place to stay.

Many of the hotels in East Moline are very competitive with their pricing, so My Place had a very affordable rate. Close in proximity to the Great River Trail, though it is not immediately accessible from the path, the hotel is close to restaurants, Dollar General and a gas station. I thought it was interesting that you could place an order for breakfast items either before you check in or to be delivered to your room while you are out exploring the city. Full kitchen, spacious room, comfortable, clean, friendly staff, coffee always available. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean room. Bed was comfortable. Nice to have a kitchen to prepare meals!! Will stay again and recommend!!

Our room had a kitchenette but no tableware....it would have been nice to have some cups/plates/silverware. I'm glad we brought our own but we usually do when traveling by car. Another hotel in the same area does have some tableware in its kitchenette rooms.

Reserved a room but didn't have a room when we got there. Still waiting for my refund because my card was charged.

Very clean. Wheelchair accessible room was great! Comfortable bed and low enough for easy transfer from Wheelchair to bed.

Good place to stay. Convenient to where I needed to be. Lack of personnel at front desk was a problem. Front door was locked and I was unable to enter. Had to use side entrances instead.
